North Jersey Legislative Reception Recap

On October 7, 2015 the NEW JOBS PAC hosted its final event of the year; the North Jersey Legislative Reception. The event drew over 125 of the top business leaders from North Jersey and included nearly 30 legislators. The event was chaired by: Anthony Attanasio, Executive Director, Utility & Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey; David Brogan, Executive Director, New Jersey Apartment Association; and Tonio Burgos, CEO, Tonio Burgos & Associates.

Central Jersey Legislative Reception Recap

On June 25, 2015 the NEW JOBS PAC hosted its Central Jersey Legislative Reception with nearly 200 attendees and forty legislators. North Jersey Legislative Reception

On October 17, 2012, the New Jersey Organization for a Better State (NEW JOBS) hosted its Annual North Jersey Legislative Reception with over 130 attendees and 18 legislators. Central Jersey Legislative Reception

On June 21, 2012 the NEW JOBS PAC hosted a record breaking Central Jersey Legislative Reception with over 200 attendees and 57 legislators, including ALL FOUR LEGISLATIVE LEADERS. The event was chaired by: Jason D. Gonzalez, Manager, State Government Affairs, E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co.; Donald McCloskey, Director – State Government Affairs, Public Service Enterprise Group, Inc.; and, Patrick L. Ryan, Esq., Chairman of the Board, Hopewell Valley Community Bank. NEW JOBS thanks the chairs for all of their hard work.

With all four legislative leaders, and this many legislators in attendance, this event demonstrates that NEW JOBS is the only pro-business PAC that can provide attendees with networking opportunities of this breadth and scope.

South Jersey Legislative Event

On May 2, 2012 the NEW JOBS PAC held its 26th Annual South Jersey Legislative Reception at the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, NJ. The room was packed with nearly 200 attendees. The event was chaired by: Keith Langan, Executive Vice President, Surety Title Company LLC; Nichole LoPresti, Vice President, Tonio Burgos & Associates, Inc.; and Daniel J. Statile, Vice President and General Manager, NuStar Paulsboro Refinery. On October 19, NEW JOBS hosted its last and biggest event of the year at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City overlooking the New York City skyline. On October 5, NEW JOBS hosted another successful legislative reception at the beautiful Mansion at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Hopewell. Over 70 guests spent the night networking with candidates for the General Assembly and Senate as well as incumbent legislators seeking re-election including: Senator Christopher “Kip” Bateman (R-16), Assemblyman Daniel Benson (D-14), Assemblyman Assemblyman Gary Chiusano (R-24), Assemblyman John DiMaio (R-23), Assemblywoman Alison Littell McHose (R-24), Senator Steven Oroho (R-24), Assemblyman Erik Peterson (R-23), Senator Shirley Turner (D-15), and Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-15). Morris/Sussex Legislative Reception

On July 13, Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno was the keynote speaker at the eighth Annual NEW JOBS Morris and Sussex Counties Legislative Reception, held at the national corporate headquarters of pharmaceutical giant Daiichi Sankyo in Parsippany. Event Co-Chairs, Paul Boudreau, President, Morris County Chamber of Commerce; Shawn Laurenti, President of Laurenti Consultants; Jack Miller, President and COO of Solix, Inc.; and Charles A. Roberts, President and CEO of Ames Rubber Corporation hosted a capacity crowd including 132 guests and 10 legislators. The ten legislators who attended were as follows: Assemblyman Jon Bramnick (R-21), Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz (R-21), Senator Steve Oroho (R-24), Assemblyman Gary Chiusano (R-24), Assemblywoman Alison Littell McHose (R-24), Senator Tony Bucco (R-25), Assemblyman Anthony Bucco (R-25), Senator Joe Pennacchio (R-26), Assembly Republican Leader Alex DeCroce (R-26), and Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-26).
